However there is another distinguished scholar who believes Jats are Massagetae but Sunny didn't quote him. Why? Because this particular scholar also believes Jats are Gypsies.Following I've presented Rishi's views on the Jat origins ,Massagetae and Romany:

W.R. Rishi,"Multilingual Romani Dictionary",Roma Publications,Chandigar India,1974 ed.,

pp X-XI

"It will be seen from the foregoing that the Roma who migrated from India during the 5th to the 9th century via Persia were the Jats.Roma who migrated from India after the battle of Terain in 1192 and reached Greece are the descendants of Rajputs from Rajasthan or Rajputana. In other words,we can say that except for the 12 000 musicians sent to Behram Gaur in the 5th century, all other Roma belong to the warrior class of India, chiefly from the area of modern Rajasthan,Haryana,Punjab and Delhi and its surroundings. This has been confirmed by the linguistic and anthropological data given in the preceding pages. Rajput traditions recognise the Jats as one of their 36 clans. In the Punjab they still retain ancient name of Jat.On the Indus and in Saurashtra they are termed Jats. The greater portion of the husbandmen in Rajasthan are Jats and there are numerous tribes beyond the Indus, now proselytes to Islam who derive their origin from this class. The typical Panjabi Jat is a Sikh.On the Jamuna and Ganges they are styled as Jats of whom the chief of Bharatpur is the most conspicuous.Jats of Bharatpur are well known for their bravery.Raja Surajmall raised their power to its highest point. It was from the walls of their fortresses that British army was compelled in January 1805 to retire baffled and humbled after vainly attempting on four different occasions to carry the place by storm, although twenty-one years later, this failure was balanced by the triumphant assault directed by Lord Cambermere. The victory was not obtained until after a stubborn and masterly defence by a most gallant people.
