can a person who has done bajar kurehat give vaari for akhand paath saheb or sahej paath from shri guru granth saheb jee?

From what I know I don't think some one who has done a Bajar Kurehat should be doing seva of Guru Sahib Jee. He can still do Paath from Pothian though for himself.

The SGPC rehat maryada states that

"Only a Sikh may read out from the Guru Granth Sahib for others. However, even a non-Sikh may read from it for himself/herself."

If someone has committed a Bajar Kurehat then they are no longer a Sikh of the Guru they have to go Pesh to be reinstated into Sikhee.

I have asked two other Rehatvaan GurSikhs and they have said the same thing.
