Bar do Alam Shah, Guru Gobind Singh, The king of this world and the next.

In Gurbani as well there are dousins of refferences to the next world. as we sikhs dont belive in the concept of paradise and hell, then what is the next world? In reincarnation we continue to be reborn into this world, so what is this next world that Guru Maharaj is the king of.

taken from another forum.

(does anybody have the answer to the persons question)

THERE is a heaven, Hell, Paradise, underworld, etc. They ALL EXIST. GURBANI SAYS ALL THIS EXISTS AS WELL AS MUCH, MUCH MORE. This is old man.

Where do you think people are judged? At the true court of Dharma, of course. There are many punishments, such as hell, reincarnation, to incarnate as Goblin, Ghost and the list can go on and on.

Even though, sikhs are meant to seek out Vaheguru Ji, but Gurbani says by japping Naam one gets a home in heaven.

Dharam Raj only accepts Meditation on God's Name - everyone knows this. COME ON MAN!!

Death, of course you are right but unfortunately there are is a trend in a group of 'modern' sikhs who beleive that all this is just metaphore and they refuse to believe, many a time I have had to bang my head against a brick wall.

Bundha,

Only a few a spiritual due to previous lives, and understand that death is only the beginning.

Maya is the one who clouds the mind of man; her in the form of pleasure and entertainment takes the mind of Truth and instead into illusion.

Waheguru ji ka khalsa
Waheguru ji ki fateh

Hardeep Sengh jio,The question you brought up here is the ultimate question for any human kind. Since the start of civilization human being is continually brain storming with its best of ability to find answers for those. That is why many religions with their best effort concluded that there is heaven and hell after is life where the soul reaches according to this life's karam and we think up to here they are absolutely right but Akaal Purakh janay their idea of buried the body to wait for that decision date. Here they get confused about the matter. Similarly some religions say that heaven hell is there but one must do bhagti to get out of that (Mukti). Then next is Science which just on stage of developing herself for acceptance of God so Science can not tell either what's next.

We think only those can call tell who have seen what is next? And that is why Akaal Purakh himself with roop of Jagat Guru Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji came to this earth to tell what's next and what's being needed to see that next Parlok. Although Guru Sahib wrote all his Katha from Ik Oankar to Nanak Naam Milay ta(n) jeeva(n) and this became the Ultimate answer to that Ultimate question but due to ISS MUN KO JANAM JANAM KEE MUL LAAGEE is not trying to understand Guru Sahib.

Now either Guru Sahib can tell or the Gursikhs who have Gur Shabad Kamai to answer that. Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir is our Best choice for that purpose because he truly lived the path Guru Sahib Prescribed with KIRAT KARO, NAAM JAPO and VAND SHAKKO. So our recommendation would be his book "ANNDITHEE DUNIYA" or "UNSEEN WORLD". In which Bhai Sahib did not just write SAKHIAN or any Interesting stories he just plainly explored what he experienced under the light of Gur Shabad means Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. Although entire book is related to the topic but what we can think of is the article AKAAL PURAKH DI DARGAH is easy more than enough for some one who is intentionally not beleiving what you mentioned. The Gurbani in that article clearly explore what we are looking for and we think the entire book is ultimate for any Gurmat seeker. If time allowed we will bring few pages up here.

Waheguru ji ka khalsa
Waheguru ji ki fateh

Khalsa jio,

Let's see what Guru Sahib say and will we will try to stay away from arths with our mat. Any Sikh who can read Gurmukhi can undersatnd easily.

panna 278

Further

Panna 278

Further

Panna 278

Further

Panna 278

Although there can be many Gurbani panktis about the this subject but we think above Gurbani quotes are enough and if we read those very carefully then any intiated Sikh can believe what Guru sahib say about heaven hell, dharam rai, reincarnation and who will go to hell and reincarnated. Now how much truth this Sikh holds who says

Quote "as we sikhs dont belive in the concept of paradise and hell"

Of course SIKHS do not live or fight for heaven hell but that does not means they do not exist. We think if this Sikh made above statement just because of ignorance then he/she can be forgiven by Guru Sahib but if he/she is doing delibratly then he can not be called a SIKH as his preaching is absolutly contradicting the Gurbani.
