Questions/Comments:

- ਦਰਵੇਸੀ - i pronounce this as ਦਰਵੇਸੀ because the original word is darvesh. fine?

- ਧਿਗੁ - this word also appears, in a different form, in places such as Rehraas Sahib (dhrig jeevan ,dhrig jivaas...). is there any significance here given the lack of pairee rara? does the meaning alter or is it just another way to write the word? i am pretty sure we never do but just in case i am wrong, we never add 'r' sounds when we do paath, right?

- ਜਾਉ - we always nasalise ooraa in this word right?

- ਨੀਸਾਣੁ - i pronounce as as ਨੀਸਾਣੁ, right?

6॥. which is the correct way to do bishraam and why is it correct when compared to the other ways i.e. why would they be incorrect?

i meant:

- ਦਰਵੇਸੀ - i pronounce this as ਦਰਵੇਸ਼ੀ because the original word is darvesh. fine?

- ਨੀਸਾਣੁ - i pronounce as as ਨੀਸ਼ਾਣੁ, right - same reason as above.

Correct.

Correct.

When this word is a Kriya in Uttam Purakh (verb, first person), it's pronounced nasal.

The raara has not been added, I guess as per boli of certain geographical area. Another reason could be to keep the maatra (metre) under control.

In my humble opinion, the bishraam should be:

- ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਕਿਰਪਾਲੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ; ਤਿਸ ਨੋ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਮਨਾਵੈ॥6॥

In reality, "ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ", is Dehli Deepak i.e. connects with both sides.

In long pankitis like this, it is advisable to place bishraam in such way that the Dehli Deepak is connected to the first connection. This is in line with chaal of Paath. If the pankiti is small i.e. less lengthy, the whole pankiti should be uttered without bishraam.
