> ਹਉਮੈ ਓਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥
> Egotism is within all bodies; through egotism, we
> come to be born.

> ਹਉਮੈ ਵਡਾ ਗੁਬਾਰੁ ਹੈ
> ਹਉਮੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਬੁਝਿ ਨ
> ਸਕੈ ਕੋਇ ॥੨॥
> Egotism is total darkness; in egotism, no one can
> understand anything. ||2||
