You are projecting Khande di pahul plus Sikh Code of Conduct as tribulation.
This doesnot account as Sikhi Prachaar.

By partaking Amrit, a person no longer remains Nigura. Guru Sahib jeeo gives blessings and guidance to his Sikh. Moreso it is a transformation of the Sikh spirit into a SINGH (Saint-Soldier).

The Sikh Rehat Maryada (Code of Conduct) shows the way to become a KHALSA (pure-supreme being). Following Rehat Maryada means embracing the righteous conduct of Dharma.

Guru Gobind Singh ji bestowed Khalsa with his total power with the condition that he remains faithful and obeys HUKUM.


ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਕੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ॥
khhaalasaa akaal purakh ki fauj ||
Khalsa is God's Army



ਪ੍ਰਗਟਿਓ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮ ਕੀ ਮੌਜ ॥
pragattiou khhaalasaa pramaatham kee mauj ||
It's sustained by the Will of the Almighty



ਜਬ ਲਗ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਰਹੇ ਨਿਆਰਾ ॥
jab lag khhaalasaa rehae niaaraa ||
While the Khalsa remains pure



ਤਬ ਲਗ ਤੇਜ ਕੀਉ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰਾ ॥
thab lag thaej keeo mai(n) saaraa ||
I will give it all my strength



ਜਬ ਇਹ ਗਹੈ ਬਿਪਰਨ ਕੀ ਰੀਤ ॥
jab eih gehai biparan kee reeth ||
When they mimic the habits of others



ਮੈਂ ਨ ਕਰੋਂ ਇਨ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ॥
mai(n) n karo(n) ein kee pratheeth ||
I will not offer them my assistance.

Amrit & Rehat Maryada are not a burden but Hukum of Satguru.

ਹਰਿ ਚੇਤਿ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੂ ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਕਮਾਇ ॥
हरि चेति मन मेरे तू गुर का सबदु कमाइ ॥
Har chėt man mėrė tū gur kā sabad kamā­ė.
O my mind, think of the Lord, and practice the Word of the Guru's Shabad.


ਹੁਕਮੁ ਮੰਨਹਿ ਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਤਾ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਹਉਮੈ ਜਾਇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
हुकमु मंनहि ता हरि मिलै ता विचहु हउमै जाइ ॥ रहाउ ॥
Hukam maneh tā har milai tā vichahu ha­umai jā­ė. Rahā­o.
If you submit to the Hukam of the Lord's Command, then you shall meet with the Lord; only then will your ego depart from within. ||Pause||

ਸੋਚੈ ਸੋਚਿ ਨ ਹੋਵਈ ਜੇ ਸੋਚੀ ਲਖ ਵਾਰ ॥
सोचै सोचि न होवई जे सोची लख वार ॥
Sochai soch na hova­ī jė sochī lakh vār.
By thinking, He cannot be reduced to thought, even by thinking hundreds of thousands of times.


ਚੁਪੈ ਚੁਪ ਨ ਹੋਵਈ ਜੇ ਲਾਇ ਰਹਾ ਲਿਵ ਤਾਰ ॥
चुपै चुप न होवई जे लाइ रहा लिव तार ॥
Chupai chup na hova­ī jė lā­ė rahā liv tār.
By remaining silent, inner silence is not obtained, even by remaining lovingly absorbed deep within.


ਭੁਖਿਆ ਭੁਖ ਨ ਉਤਰੀ ਜੇ ਬੰਨਾ ਪੁਰੀਆ ਭਾਰ ॥
भुखिआ भुख न उतरी जे बंना पुरीआ भार ॥
Bhukhi­ā bhukh na utrī jė bannā purī­ā bhār.
The hunger of the hungry is not appeased, even by piling up loads of worldly goods.


ਸਹਸ ਸਿਆਣਪਾ ਲਖ ਹੋਹਿ ਤ ਇਕ ਨ ਚਲੈ ਨਾਲਿ ॥
सहस सिआणपा लख होहि त इक न चलै नालि ॥
Sahas si­ānpā lakh hohi ta ik na chalai nāl.
Hundreds of thousands of clever tricks, but not even one of them will go along with you in the end.


ਕਿਵ ਸਚਿਆਰਾ ਹੋਈਐ ਕਿਵ ਕੂੜੈ ਤੁਟੈ ਪਾਲਿ ॥
किव सचिआरा होईऐ किव कूड़ै तुटै पालि ॥
Kiv sachi­ārā ho­ī­ai kiv kūrhai tutai pāl.
So how can you become truthful? And how can the veil of illusion be torn away?


ਹੁਕਮਿ ਰਜਾਈ ਚਲਣਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਨਾਲਿ ॥੧॥
हुकमि रजाई चलणा नानक लिखिआ नालि ॥१॥
Hukam rajā­ī chalnā Nānak likhi­ā nāl. ||1||
O Nanak, it is written that you shall obey the Hukam of His Command, and walk in the Way of His Will. ||1||

It wasn't Daas's intention to make it seem negative. Daas isn't very good with words. What Daas meant is that people do not take it seriously since they do not fully devote themselves to Guru ji. They don't realize the seriousness of the commitment they made. In the past it was taken more seriously during Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh's time. Only a few used to be chosen. Most people today are not fully prepared to give their head to Guru ji. Daas personally believes that in order for people to remain strong when they take amrit they should do as much Gurbani abyiyaas to strengthen their mind. This way people won't mock the value of amrit by breaking their amrit afterwards. They become BAYMUKHS which is worse than being a manmukh.

Bhai Gurdaas Ji's vaara:

(It is said that) The killing of Brahmin, cow and the man of one’s own family is a deadly sin.

The drunkards gamble and look at the wives of others.

The thieves and dacoits loot other’s wealth.

These all are treacherous, ungrateful, sinners and killers.

If such persons are gathered in infinite number.

Even they all are not equal to the single hair of the apostate.(16)

I am glad that you realised it was a mistake. The words are sending wrong sort of message, therefore one should be very careful while posting 'prachaar' articles.

Truth is, by obeyng Guru Sahib ji's hukum Punj Piyaras became KHALSA. None can equal that ! They remained faithful & obedient to Guru Gobind Singh ji through their life. Unsder Guru Sahib ji's guidance they mastered both aspects and became Saint-Soldiers (SINGHS). They never got married !

They remained in Charhdikala, lived free without fear, like lions in the wild.

ਸਲੋਕ ਕਬੀਰ ॥
Shalok, Kabeer:


ਗਗਨ ਦਮਾਮਾ ਬਾਜਿਓ ਪਰਿਓ ਨੀਸਾਨੈ ਘਾਉ ॥
The battle-drum beats in the sky of the mind; aim is taken, and the wound is inflicted.


ਖੇਤੁ ਜੁ ਮਾਂਡਿਓ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਅਬ ਜੂਝਨ ਕੋ ਦਾਉ ॥੧॥
The spiritual warriors enter the field of battle; now is the time to fight! ||1||


ਸੂਰਾ ਸੋ ਪਹਿਚਾਨੀਐ ਜੁ ਲਰੈ ਦੀਨ ਕੇ ਹੇਤ ॥
He alone is known as a spiritual hero, who fights in defense of religion.


ਪੁਰਜਾ ਪੁਰਜਾ ਕਟਿ ਮਰੈ ਕਬਹੂ ਨ ਛਾਡੈ ਖੇਤੁ ॥੨॥੨॥
He may be cut apart, piece by piece, but he never leaves the field of battle. ||2||2||

Hence, "Jai Jaikar Shaheedan di".

Now 99.9 percent of Amritdhari's make compromises in their lives which includes me. But never the less, one should always aim high in order to hit the target !

Bhai Sahib Bhai Randheer Singh were a Gursikh who strictly followed Rehat, inspired and still inspire lots of people. Bhai Sahibs adopted the other definition of 'Sura'.

ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
Dhanaasaree, Fifth Mehl:


ਜਾ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਗੋ ਇਸੁ ਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਸੋ ਕਹੀਅਤ ਹੈ ਸੂਰਾ ॥
He alone is called a warrior, who is attached to the Lord's Love in this age.


ਆਤਮ ਜਿਣੈ ਸਗਲ ਵਸਿ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ॥੧॥
Through the Perfect True Guru, he conquers his own soul, and then everything comes under his control. ||1||

Sunmukh & Baymukh

ਜੇ ਕੋ ਸਿਖੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਸੇਤੀ ਸਨਮੁਖੁ ਹੋਵੈ ॥
If a Sikh turns to the Guru with sincere faith, as sunmukh -


ਹੋਵੈ ਤ ਸਨਮੁਖੁ ਸਿਖੁ ਕੋਈ ਜੀਅਹੁ ਰਹੈ ਗੁਰ ਨਾਲੇ ॥
if a Sikh turns to the Guru with sincere faith, as sunmukh, his soul abides with the Guru.


ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਧਿਆਏ ਅੰਤਰ ਆਤਮੈ ਸਮਾਲੇ ॥
Within his heart, he meditates on the lotus feet of the Guru; deep within his soul, he contemplates Him.


ਆਪੁ ਛਡਿ ਸਦਾ ਰਹੈ ਪਰਣੈ ਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਜਾਣੈ ਕੋਏ ॥
Renouncing selfishness and conceit, he remains always on the side of the Guru; he does not know anyone except the Guru.

ਕਹੈ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਸੋ ਸਿਖੁ ਸਨਮੁਖੁ ਹੋਏ ॥੨੧॥
Says Nanak, listen, O Saints: such a Sikh turns toward the Guru with sincere faith, and becomes sunmukh. ||21||


ਜੇ ਕੋ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਵੇਮੁਖੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
One who turns away from the Guru, and becomes baymukh - without the True Guru, he shall not find liberation.


ਪਾਵੈ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਨ ਹੋਰ ਥੈ ਕੋਈ ਪੁਛਹੁ ਬਿਬੇਕੀਆ ਜਾਏ ॥
He shall not find liberation anywhere else either; go and ask the wise ones about this.


ਅਨੇਕ ਜੂਨੀ ਭਰਮਿ ਆਵੈ ਵਿਣੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਨ ਪਾਏ ॥
He shall wander through countless incarnations; without the True Guru, he shall not find liberation.


ਫਿਰਿ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਪਾਏ ਲਾਗਿ ਚਰਣੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਣਾਏ ॥
But liberation is attained, when one is attached to the feet of the True Guru, chanting the Word of the Shabad.


ਕਹੈ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ਦੇਖਹੁ ਵਿਣੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਨ ਪਾਏ ॥੨੨॥
Says Nanak, contemplate this and see, that without the True Guru, there is no liberation. ||22||
