There will be an Akhaand Paath Saahib (larridaar Saroop) Smaagam in memory of late Bhai Harminder Singh Jee of GhoraiVah at the residence of Bhai Jasbir Singh Jee (Disst. Below is an English translation of the short article that appeared in the May issue of the AKJ Bulletin on Bhai Harminder Singh Jee GhoraiVah;


Akhand Keertani Jatha’s prominent Keertaneea Bhai Jasbir Singh GhoraiVah’s son Harminder Singh in blossoming youth completed his life journey and passed away on 30th April 2006 in a road accident. Even though he lived a short life, and while most consider this age a time to party and have fun, this Singh spent his youth in Guroo Saahib’s grace and is exemplary for all youth.

Bhai Harminder Singh jee’s serious nature, love for Guroo Saahib and Gurmukhhi bana, Sarbloh Bibek pehra, steadfastness for Guroo Saahib’s hukams and not heeding to worldly customs set him apart from others.

Even during his final days while his family was preoccupied with a wedding at Ludhiana, Bhai Harminder Singh was engrossed in Keertan with other Singhs at Bhai Sahib Bhai Randheer Singh Jee’s summer residence in the hills of Kumar Hatti.

Returning from there he was involved in a road accident near Nalagarh and left this world behind for the Guroo’s feet. At the funeral on May 1st and at AkhandPaath Saahib Bhog on the 7th a large gathering of Gursikhs blessed the sangat with Keertan. May Guroo Sahib bless this departed soul and keep the family and parents in ChardhiKala and remain in the will of Vaaheguroo.
