Nang Poola Arrested Again

This Nang should be punished to the utmost. Look at his chardee kalaa amrit vela: asleep at 6am and arrested from his bed.

Controversial Nihang chief of Taruna Dal Baba Ajit Singh Poohla was arrested today from his headquarters at Jhutha Kartarpur, near here, in a joint raid conducted by the Nawanshahr and the local police with active support of ex-servicemen.
He has been arrested in connection with the brutal murder of Nihang Sukhdev Singh at Mazaar Sayeed Jora Peer Behram in Nawanshahr police district on June 20, 2002.
The Nihang chief was arrested along with his two aides Gurmel Singh and Onkar Singh when they were asleep at about 6 a.m.
Activists of the Poohla Eviction Committee had been keeping watch on the activities of Baba Poohla for the past few days. Once his location was confirmed they informed the SSP, Nawanshahr, Mr M.M.
Farooqui, on his cellphone at around midnight, who immediately dispatched police parties to Baba Bakala under DSP (D) Jagtar Singh.
At least 30 of his followers accompanied him when he was taken to Nawanshahr. He was arrested under Sections 302 and 34 of the IPC registered against him on January 20, 2002.
The Nihang chief has been sent in police remand till August 2.
Jathedar Deep Singh, who had disowned Baba Poohla and considered him a usurper of the title of the head of Taruna Dal, said Baba Makhan Singh was the chosen head of Taruna Dal now. He said the local Nihangs of Taruna Dal also helped the committee ex-servicemen and police to arrest the controversial Nihang chief.
During peak of militancy Poohla had been issued at least 18 weapons, including a light machine gun, a general purpose machine gun, an AK-56, six SLRs. However, these were withdrawn by the police following registration of fresh cases.

Ajita Poolah is a criminal and dusht. He is one of the biggest enemies of the Panth today and his hands are drenched with the blood of countless Sikh Youth. In the garb of a Nihang, this Maha-Nang has done immeasurable damage to the Panth. He was armed by the likes of KP Gill, Gobind Ram and Azhar Alam (Punjab Police). And now the Punjab Police is trying to be big heros by opposing him? I call it hypocrisy.
Here is his profile from "White Paper on State Terrorism in Punjab" by the National Punjab Student's Union released on Nov. 9, 1989. Since then, he has done even more atrocities.

After the death of notorious Nihang Leader Kahn Singh who was derogatively also referred to as Kahna, by the people, Ajit Singh Poola took over his gang, which consisted of notorious criminals who wore the robes of Nihangs. These were exactly the type of people the Government needed for the "Black Cats". Amritsar Police Chief Azhar Alam contacted them and granted them liberal arms licenses. This group was charged with threatening the parents and family members of the militant leaders, spreading terror among the villagers, challenging and thus trivialising the militant leaders through the media. Taking over prominent rural Gurdwaras, getting militants arrested and if possible, killing them.
Even today, the heavily armed members of this gang can be seen strutting around in Amritsar and Gurdaspur district. Today, the control many important rural Gurdwaras. Police wanted them to do so because they wanted to use these institutions in their fight against the militants. They even provided him with a uniformed detail which was ostensibly meant to guard him but in fact became an accomplice in crime and helped in capturing the Gurdwaras.
Poola's gang is directly or indirectly responsible for the assassination of a dozen or so militants. They were initially used by Azar Alam but then Gobind Ram took them over. During this time Poola took over the Gurdwara at Ghuman in Gurdaspur district, where he started his anti social activities and terrorised the people in the area. The following is an example of his activities:
There is an important gurdwara called the Damdama Sahib near Hargobindpur. The local Sikhs asked the SGPC to take over the management but on being told of the organization's inability to do so, they unanimously decided to ask Bhawant Singh of village Mari Bhucian to manage the Gurdwara. He was inclined towards the Taksal.
On Jan 18, 1989, Poola along with 20-25 people and his police guard raided the house of Bhagwant Singh and said that he wanted to search the house. Bhagwant Singh was not home, his wife had taken the children and gone to visit her parents and only his brother Harpal Singh, his wife and their elderly parents were home. The whole house was searched after which they got after Harpal Singh who was holding his 2 year old son. The snatched the child and threw him ion the ground, dragged Harpal Singh out and beat him mercilessly. When Harpal's wife and mother tried to stop them, they were also kicked. The father Mukhtar Singh was beaten with rifle butts and accused of sheltering terrorists. They picked up all the belongings of the family and took it away. When the family went to the police station to lodge a report, the were treated very badly. How could the police file a complaint against a gang sponsored by their boss? Harpal Singh was very badly injured and had to be hospitalized in Amritsar.
Poola used to be on the dias at the Lok Shakti functions held by the district officials. He would launch into an everiology (praise) about SSP Gobind Ram

Ive jus seen his photo in the newspaper here in AmritSar. His dummala is awsome, yet his sikhi and his actions. He is captured trying to hide his Chand from the camera. Another thing, i was at Akali Phooola Singhs Burjh in Amritsar, it was so odd.. then a day later i heard that poilce found alot of drugs/weapons etc . . :S

These are the people that we should stop by any cost.
In the 80s this Agent killed so many Gursikhs.
GOI plant these agents to destory sikhi from within.
