Just wondering, how accurate do you think these rehitnamas are?

www.allaboutsikhs.com/rehat

Some of them are very interesting....

Also, are there other translations/collections of rehitnamas to look at so I can compare??

Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki fateh.

Use the GURBANI TOUCHSTONE..... as the First and FINAL way to judge.
If anything feels/goes against GURBANI.....then it is not "rehat" but manmatt of the writer himself.

Rememeber the Rehatnamas are DATED...unlike GURBANI which is ETERNAL and For every time and Yugg..... Gurbani can NEVER go out of Date, have anything out of sync with Science/Nature/Knowledge/reason/...

Gurbani comes ALIVE the more you Love it.....the more you delve in it, the more Rass with more Love and devotion......and its MYSTERIES UNRAVEL right before you as you dive in deeper and deeper...

The "rehatnamas" are personal interpretations of humans...they can be Faulty, misunderstood, misguided...acoording to what the writer "thought" GURU JI meant or said certain things....

It is a wonder why Celebrated Writers. and JEEWAN MUKT SINGHS of Chardikalla who were VERY CLOSE to GURU JI like Baba deep Singh Shaheed, and Bhai Mani Singh NEVER wrote any REHATNAMAS. I would have thought these two Singhs would be the best choice as writer of rehatnamas as they were True SAINT-SOLDIERS, Fully IMBIBED with GURBANI and everything SIKHI. Baba Deep Singh Ji wrote FIVE Copies of GURU GRANTH SAHIB JEE for the Five Takhats...BUT no other document or rehatnama...similar to Bhai mani Singh who was Granthi of Harmandir Amritsar and a jeewan mukt and saint scholar as well as sipahi of the greatest order. It is very improbable that these SINGHS didnt LIVE their DAILY LIFE as GURU JI INTENDED all His SIKHS to LIVE.
