hell and heaven are actual places according to many saints/scholars of Gurbani.
some regard it as just a state of mind. but the description of hell is quite involved and detailed at some points. it seem so obvious it's supposed to be literal so that's how i take it.

I think there are many Hells and Heavens in the Afterlife but I think the main Hell is this world we come back to over and over again.

wjkk wjkf
,as sikhs we do not believe in an "eternal" hell instead, we are put through a kind of purgatory where for each sin has a punishment inflicted, this shows true love of our waheguru, like a parent, he will slap us wen we rebel and come of the path, delving into maya, however, follow your rehat, do naam simran, give chairty, do seva, and take amrit, and it qoutes that the gursikh will leave with their faces shining and rather than be escorted t waheguru by the angels of death, instead angels will come down and guide you to out eternal father
if i am wrong, your opinon would be most greatful

naraks are punishments given according to the actions committed.
the reincarnations are a punishment in the form of continuous birth and death.
