Vahiguru ji ka khalsa, Vahiguru ji ki fateh!

Sadh Sangat Jio,

When we comb our Kesh twice a day, does that also include our Dhara?

Thanks.

Where the 'Dhara' is concerned, I do not comb it on a daily basis. However I do feel more relaxed when I do.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa
Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Veerji,

It takes 10 extra seconds to do it along. Anyway there is no such restriction. Mainly twice a day is for hair on head else we would be asked to comb every where we have our hair.

I do comb both dhaara and kesh together. It is really relaxing and give extra flow of energy to face and head.

Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki fateh.

What a question ? Of course we must comb our dhara/kesh. TWO times is the MINIMUM requirement...more can be done as and when we like.

The reason is dhara also sheds kesh and if we comb it regularly then we cn take care of the shedded kesh together with those from the head and do saskaar properly. Then we wont have one ot two stray hairs dropping out of the dhara now and then.

The reasons given by the other posters like energy flowing etc are also very valid.
