this bani is composed of many shabads.. i dont know where it can be found on the net.. but maybe you can get it from a shop or something.
Dukhbhanjani sahib is for getting rid of pains, diseases and what not.. you should do it 5 times with ur nitnem a day.. and also if you put a glass of water while doing the paath.. after ur done.. the glass of water will turn into amrit

if you disagree try this test: put a glass of water in front of the tv and play some rock and roll music and drink that water.
then play some bani, keertan and put the water in front of the speaker, if it's not amrit what else can you call it?
even food cooked while reciting bani can be amrit.

why do you disagree?
i was listening to the dukhbhanjani sahib audio
and thats what the singh said in it..
?
pretty sure i either read it or heard it
dont know
but pretty sure i heard it

you can't refer to it as "amrit" though. Amrit isn't a word that can be thrown around, it represents something really powerful.
I was wondering, who compiled dukhbhanjani sahib?

I think it can be called amrit because when you have an akhand path happening there is usually a glass of water sitting there. Then the glass stays there for a couple of days. With bani and Guru ji's presence the water becomes amrit.
Now would you say its not amrit?

???

Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki fateh.
There is no such Bani as "Dukhbhanjani Sahib" The collection of shabads that goes under this name is from Various Aangs of Guru granth sahib Jee and collected under a name given as "dukhbhanjani "...and SOLD in GUTKAS by the Various BOOKSELLERS.....
This "COLLECTION" came about whereby some people claim that certain shabads are more powerful than others...and must be read at certain times...I firmly beleive ALL GURBANI from AAng 1 to 1429 is ALL POWERFUL and should be read at ALL TIMES.
WHY didnt GURU JI "SEPARATE" GURBANI into HAPPY/SAD/PAINFUL/ times ???? This is the question these "collectors" hate to answer ??? IF GURU JI MIXED UP His GURBANI through out the entire GURU GRANTH SAHIB JEE then HE MUST have a Very GOOD REASON ?? YES or NO ?? Otherwise such a good "editor" ( apologies for lack of abetter word) as GURU ARJUN SAHIB JEE who went ot so much trouvle to arrange the Gurbani according to Raag, Guru (mehl), bhagat, Bhatt, ashtpadis, chhants, sloks, vaars, etc etc FAILED to separate GURBANI according to "DUKHBHANJANI" "HAPPY BHANJANI" "GOOD LUCK BHANJANI" "BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT BHANJANI" "BHANJANI FOR THOSE WHO WANT SONS" "BHANJANI FOR THOSE HAVING HUSBAND-WIFE TROUBLES", monetary troubles, facing law suits, bankruptcy, fighting cancer and terminal diseases, etc etc etc etc etc etc. The infamous fake Sant/babas/mahapurashs are the ones PROMOTING all these "divisions" of Gurbani and using this as their own special TREATMENT. You can go to any such baba.sant.mahapurash or HIS FOLLOWERS to get shabads for getting a 100% PUTTAR HOVEGA, 100% Court wich Jeet Hovegi, 100% Dushman mareh jayngeh, WHATEVER....?????
Our GUTKA PRINTERS are becoming more cleverer than even Guru Ji ??? and the santbaba promoters have a fine time with these collections....
Secondly the WORD "AMRIT" is being too widely used.
There is ONLY ONE AMRIT - GURBANI. And this AMRIT is OBTAINED by the INDIVIDUAL who does KAMAII of GURBANI by READING/TASTING ?KAMAIING GURBANI HIMSELF....certainly not by drinking water placed in front of the TV Stereo speakers....this is TOTALLY FALLACIOUS and akin to "bomoh water" and Taweet water etc prepared by Muslim Fkirs who read ayats from the Quaran over water bless it etc. GURBANI is not meant to work this way - that somebody else does the work and you get the benefit by drinking it !!!
The AMRIT prepared by the PANJ PIYARE in a special CEREMONY under the guidance of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee is the ONLY TIME AMRIT from GURBANI enters the WATER in the KHANDA-BATTAH.... This is SANCTIONED by our Pita Ji Dasmesh Guur Gobind Singh Ji at vasakhi 1699 and has worked well ever since.
NO other water anywhere is "amrit" under any circumstances...anyone saying this MUST substantiate from GURBANI whereby it says that water in a glass /tank/baoli/well/ etc becomes "amrit" by reading gurbani near it...
MY QUESTION then would be" WHY GO TO ALL THAT TROUBLE TO HAVE THE PANJ PIYARAE/GUUR GRANTH SAHIB PARKASH/READ THE PANJ BANIYAS.HAVE THE KHANDA BATTA..... just go to the nearest tank and fill up PAILS of "AMRIT" and everyone can have as much as he likes ??? ( Ganga Jal as the Hindus do it from the ever flowing Ganga river... to them water becomes ganga jal just by being in the ganga river !!!! )
This is why some self made part time "brahmgianis" hate my guts. They actively PROMOTE all this special "banis", special "amrits" , double kacheerras on dead niguras...stuff...and i expose them at every step...using my rightful name and NOT ALIASES. Remember GURU ji and His Khalsa NEVER hide or attack an opponent from BEHIND. Guru Ji ALWAYS JAIKARA to his opponent to PEHLAA VAAR KAR...and then only will Guru Ji DEFEND himself. I am such a Khalsa and will continue to use ONLY my rightful Name everywhere.
One Nimanee beanti" Bhai Sahib Bhai Randheer Singh Ji was AWARDED this Title by the Entire Guru Khalsa panth while Bhai Sahib jee was ALIVE.
We must always use his full title ( BHAI SAHIB BHAI Randheer Singh Ji ) at all times when we refer to him in any post...and not shorten it to "bhai"
Dassan dass jarnail Singh.

just wanted to say that , on another thread it was mentioned by giani Jarnail singh Arshi that only stirring the water whilst reciting bani would turn it into amrit as this is what Guru ji did.
so keeping that in mind would it be better to say something like the water kept where bani is recited is purer than it was to start with.
whilst typing iv jus had a thought: im not trying to debate the significance of amrit, but im just wondering why there is a need to drink amrit if the human body already has water in it,then by listening to bani this would make the water within the body purer, right so is drinking water thats supposedly amrit becoming alomst like a ritual?? im referring to the water that has NOT been stirred with a khanda but kept by bani recitation.
thats the only way i can describe it, i know that this is most probably going to upset people but that is not my intention, so please forgive this moorakh and share the knowledge of the truth.
bhul chuk marf karni.

There is no baani by the name of "Dukh Bhanjani Sahib" in Siri Guru Granth Sahib jee. By the same token there is no baani by the name of "Shabad Hazaaray" or "Sukhmana Sahib" in Siri Guru Granth Sahib jee.
Does this mean that the shabads in the above stated baani are not in Siri Guru Granth Sahib jee? The answer is that all baani in the above stated baanis is Gurbani and included in Siri Guru Granth Sahib jee.
Shabad Hazaaray is a compilation of shabads done by unknown puraatan (Singhs from olden times). Some Premi Singhs must have liked these 7 Shabads a lot and compiled them and started calling them "Shabad Hazaaray" meaning "expensive shabads".
Similarly, unknown puraatan Singhs compiled 6 ashtpadis each of Siri Guru Raamdaas Sahib jee, from 4 raags and named them "Sukhmana Sahib".
Along these lines, it seems that some singhs have compiled some shabads from Raag Sorath, Raag Dhanasari, and Raag Bilawal and named them "Dukhbhanjani Sahib".
Now the question is that do these shabads have special power to cure diseases or relieve sorrow, that other shabad don't. The answer is no and yes. No because all shabads in Gurbani are full of amrit that can cure all diseases. Yes because, these shabads from Dukh Bhanjani specially talk about diseases, enemies and sorrows. If a person is diseased and sick, and he reads shabad like "Sarab Rog kaa Aukhad Naam", he is definitely going to get rejuvenated listening to such encouraging advice from Siri Guru jee. This is why people who read shabads of Dukh Bhanjani Sahib get help in relieving their diseases and sorrows.
Daas,
Kulbir Singh

Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji ki fateh.
Correct veer Kulbir Singh Ji. Thanks for "brimming up" my inadequacies.
But the "pick and choose" method of choosing which shabad to read....seems to me a bit like when the HOST (GURU JI) puts before us as his GUESTS... a LARGE THAAL FULL OF GOODIES..... and the "guests" start picking and choosing which parts of food to eat...WHEN ALL the FOOD is Heavenly Blissfull... I would be most grateful to get the chance to eat all I can lay my hands on.... Thats all. GURU GRANTH SAHIB JEE FULL OF GURBANI is one such THAAL full to the Brim with Mithayee..... those who pick and choose may be the losers !!
As for me when ever I am SICK or HAPPY I go to GURU GRANTH SAHIB JEE and start reading...... and I have NEVER been DISAPOINTED even a single time in my entire life. I have been through thick and thin very turbulent times...BUT GURU JI came through for me every single time.
My home has had the GURU GRANTH SAHIB JEE in various forms ever since i can remember but I never heard of any such Dukhbhanjani Sahib Gutkas etc until I started coming on the net some years back.....but of late our local gurdrawa is flooded with such and many other gutkas - among them NANAKSARI Gutkas, Damdami taksaal gutkas, Gutkas under various other names etc etc all contain ing different shabads in differen orders and many sakhis etc attached...some of which are patently false and anti gurmatt BUT these are RIDING PIGGY BACK on the GURBANI SHABADS attached in the Gutkas.... to me this is the very intention of the compilers booksellers - to legitimise their sakhis by attaching Gurbani to them. OBVIOUSLY this tactic CANNOT SUCCEED with the GURU GRANTH SAHIB BIR/SAROOPS or POTHIS. This is the point we must look into when we encourage these gutkas...
2. To beleiver: Yes WATER stirred by using a SARBLOH KHANDA in a SARBLOH BATTA by PANJ PIYARAS RECITING GURBANI turns into AMRIT.
This is a very SPECIAL CEREMONY, held BEHIND CLOSED DOORS, in PRIVACY, with the GURU GRANTH SAHIB JEE PRESENT, a Tiar Bar tiar Singh present in ATTENDANCE to GURU JI, another stands GUARD OUTSIDE the closed door. Then the PANJ take turns sitting in BIR ASSAN, one hand on the Batta, the other on the Khanda, stirring and looking into the Batta while reciting GURBANI.
It is true our body has WATER up to 75 %.....BUT you overlook the point that Khanda Batta da Amrit is PREPARED BY FIVE DIFFERENT INDIVIDUALS....no INDIVIDUAL no matter how BRAHMGIANI or HOLY can PREPARE THIS AMRIT BY HIMSELF.....LOOK at the EXAMPLE OF GURU GOBIND SINGH JI.....IF GURU JI could have prepared this AMRIT BY HIMSELF ALL ALONE ??? was there a need for the Vasakhi 1699 Ikhath and call for Five HEADS.....WHY did GURU JI HIMSELF BOW ON BENDED KNEE IN FRONT OF THE PANJ TO CHHAKK THIS AMRIT ?? Wasnt he HOLY enough with all that
GURBANI/GURUGADHI/BHAGTEE/Apana sut toheh NIVAJA ??? What are we comparewd to Shahen Shah Guru Gobind Singh Ji ???
Can anyone of us mere HUMANS really reach such a stage when the WATER in OUR BODY becomes AMRIT ??? It is sheer folly to even think of this.
Reminds me " this question was answered like this by a travelling giani i heard when I was a small boiy and it has stuck in my mind ever since. He said there is a way a TARIKA to make tea is there not ? First you put water to boil on the fire, then youadd tea leaves, sugar milk etc. Why dont anyone just put a spoonful of sugar in his mouth followed by milk and tea leaves and then WASH all this down with a cup of boiling water and then jump up and down for five minutes to get it all mixed up in his stomach ??
Similarly it is JUST NOT POSSIBLE for the water in our BODY to turn into amrit just by sitting next to an Akhand Paathi/reading Gurbani oursleves/sitting and watching TV show on Gurbani Kirtan/watching a movie featuring Darbar Sahib Amrtisar etc etc....
3. I still insist water near a bani reader cannot turn into any sort of "amrit"...the water put into glasses/bottles etc is already PURE CLEAN water from a TAP. Ever seen anyone placing a bottle full of POND WATER ?
All this talk of turning water into 'amrit" is pakhand by babas sants etc to keep their "shop" of selling gurbani going. The Muslims have their ZamZam/holy water, the Hindus have their Ganga jal.....and our babas have their "amrit".... ALL INSTANT and Prepared oN the SPOT according to market demand.
Bhul Chuk Maaf if any words used hurt anyone unintentionally. NO DISRESPECT to GURU JI/GURBANI or AMRIT of Khanda Batta.
Dass Jarnail Singh.
