waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh.
Dear sangat ji,
people have told me that nature recitess waheguru, so the trees, wind, water, etc are all japping Naam, im sure this is in bani-but can't remember where.
my question is: can gursikhs hear this recitation, or more generally can anyone hear this, or why can't we hear it??
bhul chuk marf karni.
waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh.

Also, if other beings aside from humans do Japp Naam, then why is it that we believe only humans have the chance to Japp Naam? Or do we mean only humans have the chance to reach Vahiguru through Japping Naam

I think guru sahib means more to say that the flow of naam or the naam vibration is in everything. If you ever do bhagti some place, you know that you can feel the vibrations after awhile. Or if you go to a gurmukhs house where they do a lot of bhagti, you can feel that everything around them is effected by it.

Gursikhs can hear this recitation and vibration of Naam because after much bhagtee their inner ears open up to such sound. Naam is going on but it is just us who can't hear it. Same way, Vaheguru is everywhere but we cannot see him.

does this mean that the soul is japping naam constantly too?? but we don't know or realise it????

Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki fateh.
IMHO its akin to "electricity" flowing along the wires.....its there all the time...BUT we will ONLY "see" or "feel" its effects when we turn the switch...and get light/heat/fan on/air con on etc. It is constantly flowing...but we have to turn the switch to ON...
SIMILARLY the Power and Vibration of Naam/WAHEGURU IS EVER PRESENT in all His Creation....BUT we will ONLY feel its power when we SWITCH IT ON...NAAM JAAP.
Thats the way i understand it. NAAM is ever flowing continuously throughout Nature and all creation....
