There is no such indication from any saakhi I have read. In the great battle of Mahabharata Krishna served as Saarthee (driver) of Arjun's chariot. Maybe some Sikh is trying use the same analogy and wrote that Siri Guru jee's horse was Krishna.
One thing is for sure. If he indeed did serve as Siri Guru jee's horse, then he was extremely fortunate.

OK,
this is good that this question was asked. Someone told me that krishna is the Same Jot as Guru Nanak Dev jee which would mean that its the same Jot as Guru Gobind singh Jee.
I have allways belived that Guru Nanak Dev jee was above all other men of God, thats why Guru Jee was Sent in Kal Jug.

why do we always look to demean other 'bhagats' especially hindu ones?
why can you8 beleive that krishna ji did his bhagtee and ( eventually ) got rid of 'manaas janam' cycle?

How is it demeaning to say that Krishna became horse of Guru Gobind Singh jee? I think it is an honour for Krishna.

Before we continue with this, can someone please post up details/reference to a Sakhi or text that indicates that this was the case, whether as accepted tradition or by way of symbolic reference.
In the Suraj Prakash Granth, Kavi Bhai Santokh Singh makes many allegorical references to the Mahabharat and to the Ramayan when talking about Guru Sahib and his battles with the Rajput Hill Rajas (Bhim Chand, Kesar Chand etc) refering to celebrated Sikh warriors such as Bhai Bachitter Singh in the same capacity as Hanuman (i.e. powerful warrior and devoted to Raam) by way of poetic comparison.
Similarly, there is the belief amongst certain Udasi deras that Guru Nanak personifies the form of Vishnu and Baba Sri Chand that of Shiva, this is another argument and the nature of the reference I have yet to understand, for personally even if it is symbolically, to suggest that Guru Nanak was "satogun" personified, I find hard to accept (although it's funny how most of our parcharaks always describe him in such ways, as do those Sobha Singh pictures!).
The main reason I say this is, because Guru Ji as indicated in various parts of Gurbani clearly transcends all three gunas!
Anyway, let's see if we can find the reference for Krishna and Guru Gobind Singh's horse.

Well wasn't there some reference to KALKI avtar
and Krishna was the KALKI avtar
and people always think that maybe that means Guru Gobind Singh was an encarnation of Krishna
but Sardar Kapur Singh explains how it can't be (read Parasaraprasna and Sikhism: the Oecumenical Religion)
BUT ...
maybe Krishna was meant to avtar again with KALGIAAN VAALAA
I mean who else in the world has a blue horse?
Why would his horse even BE BLUE ?
Why was Krishna Blue ?
Who else in the world has ever been blue except for two living beings:
Krishna
Guru Gobind Singh Jee's horse
just brainstorming

Dear "makhshinderpal"
You queried who else is blue, consider the following, just as a start -and this is limited to those arising from the Indian subcontinent, before we even look at other traditions:-
Shiva, Krishna, Vishnu, various Sadhus (including Udasis) are typically portrayed as blue in colour (most likely reflecting the vibhuti covering their skin).
As per blue horses, these do actually exist as a small variety amongst white horses.
Again, can we have a reference for the Krishna and horse account so we may look at this with more scrutiny.

I heard that Guru Sahib's horse was a rishi/muni that did tapaseya under the guidance of Dusht Daman in the mountains of HemKunt. Same with the char sahibzaadei and some singhs, and they came to serve Guru Gobind Singh.
