Read this week's story of Bhai Sahib with today's so called SANT CORPORATION. Where this story shows how Bhai Sahib was intoxicated with Gurbani and Naam at the same time shows the weakness, lack of understanding of Gursikhi by these Deradhari Saadhs. Even today we have seen how these Saadhs have no respect at all for Guru Sahib yet they show off like they are the ones who respect the most. We feel that this is so shameful that while in Gurudwara Darbar hall when a Akhand Paath Sahib is going on which means Jagat Jot himself is reciting Dhur ki Bani but in parallel a man made lecture (so called katha) is going on. Which means the saadh who is doing the so called katha is more important than Guru Sahib who are reciting Dhur ki bani. What a shame on we people who listen to these white chola dhari saadhs who have respect for Guru sahib at all. This is pure defination of Gurudom. These saadhs are trying to quiet the Guru Sahib and doing Ghor Manmat. If we are not wrong this is direct voilation of Rehat Maryada which strictly prohibts this practice. Whoever is doing this practice or following these saadhs can not be called a SIKH. We do not how and when these innocent people are going to awake from the CHUNGAL (influence) of these saadhs who have no respect at all for Guru Sahib. This practice clearly shows they treat Akhand Paath Sahib as path of Geeta or Ramayan. Even a Hindu sits quietly and listen when there is paath of Bhagvat Geeta or Ramayana. Shame, Shame .....................

Very well said Khalsaspirit jeeo. This story shows how carefull we should be when Siri Akhand Paath Sahib is going on. It's really strange to see how in some Gurdwaras, katha or even kirtan is done while Siri Akhand Paath Sahib is on, right in that hall. It shows how little understanding they have about Gurmat. When Shahe Shahanshah is speaking, how dare someone do katha there?

Bhai Sahib was truly an exemplery Gursikh. When that saadh called Bhai Sahib Sachay Paatshah, Bhai Sahib really got upset. This quality of Bhai Sahib sets him apart from other Mahapuraksh of his time. We hear about so many ignorant saadhs who used to not mind being called Sachay Paatshah. In Gurbani, Siri Guru Nanak Dev jee Maharaj has called none other than Vaheguru himself Sachay Paatshah. How can a mortal being be called Sachay Paatshah?

I was always of the opinion it is against Marayada to do Keertan whilst Akhand Path is happening???

I know of some people that think it is ok.. but how do you explain to them that it is wrong?
