Finally one single Maryada for the Panth set to be formed

Got this in an email

Jathedar Iqbal Singh of Patna Sahib had combined the maryada of Taksaal, AKJ and Nanaksar into one. All three organisations were really pleased as they have never accepted Panthic Maryada uptil now. Also like his father , Sukhbir is controlled by his wife and his in laws who in turn are disciples of Nanaksar Baba Ghala Singh. Hence Vedanti was quietened against Jathedar Iqbal Singh by Junior Majthia.

Now read the newsitem below whereby Maryada meeting was held at Nanaksar DERA in Delhi. Ultimately in few years time even Maryada component of AKJ and Taksaal will be thrown out as well, as Nanaksar DERA knows that they have the majority as all Sants follow Nanaksar Maryada. AKJ and Taksaal do not have the numbers.

Sukhbir, Iqbal Singh, SGPC chief hold closed-door meeting
Varinder Walia
Tribune News Service

Amritsar, February 8
In a significant development, Sukhbir Singh Badal, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president, Giani Iqbal Singh, Jathedar, Patna Sahib, Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa, chief, Damdami Taksal, and Avtar Singh, SGPC chief held a closed-door meeting at Nanaksar Dera in New Delhi today.

Talking to The Tribune, Giani Iqbal Singh said it was agreed in principle to form a seven-member high-powered committee, including jathedars of all five Takhts to bring about Panthic unity on the Nanakshahi calendar.

The meeting also resolved that a consensus would be evolved to work out a uniform Sikh maryada which should be implemented by all five Takhts and different factions of the Sant Samaj.

To give a practical shape to the proposals, as agreed upon by Sukhbir, the SGPC, the Damdami Taksal and the SAD, a meeting of the Sikh clergy is likely to be held here on February 13. Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti, Jathedar, Akal Takht, who is currently on a religious tour to France, would call the meeting after his return on February 12.

Sources pointed out that the meeting lasted for more than 2 hours. Jathedar Iqbal Singh briefed the SGPC chief and Sukhbir on issues causing Panthic controversies .

Jathedar, Patna Sahib, reportedly told the SAD chief that it was Jathedar Vedanti who had decided not to invite him to the meeting of Sikh high priests held at Akal Takht recently. However, the SAD chief assured him that he would ensure that all jathedars were invited for the meetings of Akal Takht. The two granthis of the Golden Temple would also be involved in framing a uniform maryada.

How is Iqbal Singh's maryada a combination of Taksaal, AKJ and Nanaksar ?
There is no mention of AKJ involvement in the above mentioned meeting.

Patna Sahib's Iqbal Singh has been a very controversial figure in the Sikh scene for the last several years. I don't know what good he will do for the Panth with this new 'shosha' he has re-started. His past behavior has caused quite a ruckus before too. Including having two wives, keeping donations from abroad in his personal account, and declaring himself to be the 'highest' Jathedar in the Panth, and even questioning the authority of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, etc.

The recent meeting between Iqbal Singh, Dhumma, and Sukhbir Badal should be the most worrisome. First if All Sukhbir is not even a Sikh, he is a not Amrtidhari, ties his beard, and is a pawn of the BJPS/RSS. What business doe he have attending a meeting dealing with Sikh Rahit Maryada ? Dhumma, and Iqbal Singh need no further introduction.

It will be a sad day if the present Panthic Rahit Maryada is overturned by these bozos for the sake of having their own dehdhari maryada.

I have a feeling that this might be the beginning of something reallly bad for the panth and the nihungs(the pakka ones and not the kache/bhekhi ones) and the AKJ singhs(again the pakka ones and not the kache/bhekhi ones) shud greatly increase their naam/bani abhiyaas and rehit and shud give up the hope of life and shud get ready for shaheedi in the future because they might have to repeat what their forefathers did in the 18th century.

Khalsa jio,

The deras involved in that meeting have suspicious image as per following information. They have close ties with RSS. See following link and if this is true then it left no doubt for Panthic thinking. According to this website of RSS their associates includes Taksal, Nanaksar and Iqbal Singh Jathedar Takhat Patna Sahib.

Veer, the khalsa panth is under a serious attack. WE all have full time jobs and then family responsibilites(in many cases the family is manmukh so ghar aake ve problems ne), but there are people and organizations who have full time job of attacking khalsa panth, attacking Gurmat, attacking Sri Dasam Granth. They get lots of maya for doing so. And the people who do such things are professionally trained people.
Bass Naam jappe jaoo and wait for the punj singhs that Satguru jee will send.
The enemies of the panth might be very clever, trained, professional, very skilled in deception, diplomacy, challaki but ih sabb Naam te agge fail hai.Par the problem is that ajj de sikh naam nahin japp de yan ghatt jappde nee and thats why we get defeated by chalakki of the enemy. But future will be different and the enemies of the panth will get an unforgettable lession(Baba Banda Singh Bahadur jee style)

Will this New EKTA Maryada allow all Singhs to have Multiple Wives - aka Jathedar Iqbal Singh Patna Sahib Walleh style ?? Will this privilege also extend to Singhannes with multiple husbands. Jathedar has just absolved Bedi of any wrongdoing by having a second wife while being married because jathedar himself also does the same thing.

There is no new maryada and much of this is nonsense wipped up by the media. No doubt in the background mini-badal and others are doing dodgy deals as always. But the only way to change Panthik maryada is by a sarbat khalsa. There is no will in the panth for this change.

As far as AKJ it is not involved in any of this mess, neither does it condone the actions of Iqbal singh. The more iqbal singh continues with his charade, the more he will realise how isolated he is.

One God: Waheguru
One Guru : Sahib Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
One Group : Guru Khalsa Panth!

This should be the Motto of Our Generation

Every single one of these listed on the RSS Website also 100% support the entire collection called Dasam Granth ( Chitrapakhyoan etc inclusive). Same position as by Gobind Sadan and other dodgy deras. Is there something Kala Kala in the Daal ??
