Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

I have a question to put forward. Are the 5 banis equal to doing Naam Simran. Sometimes I find it easier to contemplate on a particular paath as opposed to Mul Mantr or Gurmantr. Is this wrong - Am I losing out?

If anyone can put forward their opinions that'd be appreciated, especially the Tapoban Singhs/Singhnis.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

Nothing can replace Naam and Naam must be japped by a Gursikh. Doing as much Gurbani paath as possible is good for japping Naam but ultimately the main aim is to japp Naam. Gurbani paath is the greatest aiding Karma for japping Naam.

Daas,
Kulbir Singh

Gurbani is Dhur Ki bani. Gurbani and naam simran are both (integratedly) important for a sikh. Without reading Gurbani one cant understd the importance of Rabb, one cant understd wht is the purpose of he's here, What is kaal, what is mithya, vikaar, what is janam maran, ? etc

If u dont have fear u will not do naam simran or gurbani. thus in order to create tht fear inside him tht nothing is going 2 go with me , one cant do naam simran. thus in my view both are as important.
